Polar bears and penguins committing suicide is the focus of a series of provocative art installations by Taiwanese artist Vincent J.F Huang. Dubbed the Suicide Penguins, Huang’s art explores the negative effects global climate change is having on the animals of the world, in particular the creatures living at the North and South Poles.

The Suicide Penguins art installation, located under Millennium Bridge in London, England features two glass penguins and a stuffed polar bear hanging from nooses.

As its name suggests, the sculpture “slowly cooled since then, as it does not happen any electrical activity. Unusual clock-Pessoa clock

In an attempt to formalise the ritual of waiting, a clock was devised to leave traces of poems while it was turned on. The clarity of the traces is directly proportional to the amount of time one has to wait. The text engraved in the base is a poem by Pessoa, depicting concepts of time, and the futility of understanding them fully. Cinnamon is slowly dropped by the rolling cylinder, leaving traces on the street. [ 1 ]

The idea for “Swimming Pool” by Leandro Erlich was first conceived in 1998 while the artist was in residence in Houston as part of the Core program. Since then, it was featured at the Venice Biennale and has found a home as part of the permanent collection at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan.

At first glance it seems that standing on the edge of the pool and look at people moving under water, where the effect of water is created by using special glasses. But after passing under the earth, you find yourself in another room with a ceiling of transparent plexiglass, which can now “out of the water” watch as stunned as you previously, visitors, staring down at you puzzled and confused look.

Canadian artist Chris Dorosz transforms the traditional painting, betraying her new functions and forms, reaching into his works, the illusion of depth. Chris Dorosz creates intricate sculptures, using a lattice of acrylic plates, thread, or plastic plates, which are covered with tiny droplets of ink to reproduce the effects of three-dimensional paintings.

Artist Chris Dorosz, probably has a lot of patience. One can only imagine how many hours he spent on the creation of his sculptures, which consist of tiny droplets of ink to form a wavy and flickering pixel field of paint on an unusual canvas.

Another place – Antony Gormley – one of the most outstanding sculptors of our time. He has more than 100 solo exhibitions and numerous awards, among them the title of winner of the Turner Prize, Britain’s most prestigious awards in the field of contemporary art, and a Knight of the Order of the British Empire. His work can be seen in the collections, and just in the middle of the city. If you still do not know anything about this man, it’s time to fix it.
